Neymar started his career with Santos FC and pretty quickly rose through the ranks of the club. He scored 10 times in the Brazilian top tier and from there it was no looking back. He took over the number 10 shirt and had worked his way to climb up the steps and almost got a club legend status at the club.

In his first season with the French club, he scored 19 goals in the Ligue 1 and then the next two seasons he scored 15 and 13 goals for the club. He has had problems with persistent injury issues as he hasn’t been at his best throughout his PSG career.
He has been wearing the number 10 jersey since he arrived at the club. When Messi signed for PSG last summer from Barcelona Neymar did offer him the number 10 shirt but the Argentine rejected his advances and picked up the number 30 at Parc des Princes.
