Introduction
The ninth season of the Pro Kabaddi League will start on October 7, 2022, Friday. Kabaddi fans in India will once again get a chance to cheer for their favourite teams and players as the likes of Pardeep Narwal, Pawan Kumar Sehrawat and others will be seen taking the mat again.
PKL 2021-22 season champions Dabang Delhi K.C were the latest team to join the PKL winners list. They will kick off their campaign against U Mumba in the opening fixture of the opening day. However, the biggest and most awaited PKL fixture of the opening day will be Bengaluru Bulls vs Telugu Titans in the second game on Friday.
Unlike last PKL season, the full fixture of PKL 2022 season is out as the league will return to their caravan-style format.

The entire PKL season will take place behind closed doors at one same venue – the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Centre.
“Bengaluru has all the facilities for the conduct of big competitive sports events with best safety practices, and we look forward to demonstrating this with PKL Season 8,” Mashal Sports and League Commissioner Anupam Goswami had said.
To keep the fans engaged, Mashal Sports has put triple headers for the first four days. Following that, PKL will return to two matches a day letting PKL teams assess the situation before the second set of fixtures for the tournament is released.
