Preity Zinta

The famous Bollywood Celebrity that is the co-owner of KXIP is Preity Zinta. Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is the most recognizable face of KXIP that fans can relate to.
Born on the 31st of August 1975, Preity Zinta made her Bollywood debut with the popular film Dil Se. Ever since her debut, Preity gained immense popularity in Bollywood and went on to act in multiple movies. Preity Zinta is also the founder of PZNZ Media, a production company. Technically, PZNZ Media is the co-owner of the KXIP IPL team with about a 23% stake.
Ness Wadia
Ness Wadia, a business tycoon from the Wadia Group and a Managing Director of Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation, is also the Kings XI Punjab co-owner. Prior to this, he was also the joint Managing Director of Bombay Dyeing; the flagship company of Wadia Group. Ness Wadia holds a stake of 23% in the KXIP franchise.
Mohit Burman
Mohit Burman is the Director of Dabur India Ltd. and the co-owner of Kings XI Punjab. This Delhi-based businessman is also the Managing Director of Elephant Capital PLC. He also holds a great interest in sports and also the largest stake in KXIP with 46% of shares. Apart from IPL, Mohit Burman also owns the Pune Pistons Franchise in Indian Badminton League and previously owned the Mumbai Magicians hockey team.
Karan Paul
The chairman of Apeejay Surrendra Group, Karan Paul is also a co-owner and holds the least stake in Kings XI Punjab with only 8% of shares. The Apeejay Surrendra Group is one of the oldest and biggest business conglomerates and privately-owned family business in India.

Kings XI Punjab IPL 2020 Season
In the 2020 IPL Season auction, Kings XI Punjab bought new players such as Glenn Maxwell, James Neesham, Tanjinder Dhillon, Ravi Bishnoi, Chris Jordan, Deepak Hoods, Sheldon Cottrell, Prabhsimran Sing, and Ishan Porel in the side. It also traded Krishnappa Gowtham who was an all-rounder in Rajasthan Royals. The retained players in the squad were KL Rahul (the Orange cap winner in 2020), Nicholas Pooran, Mohammed Shami, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Karun Nair, Mandeep Singh, Chris Gayle, Hardus Viljoen, Mayank Agarwal, Darshan Nalkande, Arshdeep Singh, Harpreet Brar, Sarfaraz Khan, and Murugan Ashwin.
While Preity Zinta remained to be the Brand Ambassador for the season, some of the other team management staff included Chris Gayle as Mentor, Anil Kumble as head coach, and Andy Flower as an assistant coach.
Punjab Kings IPL 2021
Kings XI has been on a roller coaster ride ever since the inception of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, with the captain, KL Rahul, it is expected to take IPL 2021 by storm. KXIP has also revamped its name and will now be called Punjab Kings.
